Asphalt lab provides full list of test as per QCS 2014 for Asphalt Mixtures, Bitumen, Prime coat, Tack coat (Emulsified/Cutback Asphalt) and Primers. All testing are conducted in accordance with ASTM and BS.

Concrete lab provides a wide range of testing which includes the physical, mechanical and durability properties of concrete as well as material testing like kerbstone, paving blocks, tiles, dimension stones in accordance with ASTM/BS EN/QCS 2014 standards. QIL has an extensive experience of conducting destructive and non-destructive concrete testing. Ultrasonic pulse velocity test to determine the quality of concrete, rebound hammer, half cell potential, to access the crack width and depth, measuring concrete temperature difference using thermocouple data loggers. QIL has been working closely with Ashghal and non-Ashghal projects and covering the majority site testing like the concrete inspection, cement and cementitious materials testing, grout testing, trial mixes, fresh concrete testing (normal and self-compacting concrete). With the expertise of technical management, Engineers and certified technicians working in collaboration with our clients has made it possible for QIL to attain a unique position in Qatar.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is a relatively low cost, yet highly effective non-destructive testing method used to identify surface and near-surface defects in ferrous metal parts or components, including castings, forgings, weldments and machined or stamped parts. At QIL, we conduct fast and efficient wet magnetic particle inspection and employ a systematic approach in accordance with ASME, API and AWS.
